| | The Research Assistant will work closely with senior researchers studying the evolution of neural circuits underlying species-specific behaviors. Responsibilities include brain dissection, immunohistochemistry, confocal microscopy, transgenic fly generation, chromosome mapping and drosophila husbandry. Possibility of a motivated individual to expand work to include neural calcium imaging, optogenics, behavioral assays, and RNA sequencing. Additional responsibilities will include assisting the lab manager with general lab maintenance and organization. |
